It covers information collected through this website. It does not cover information you give us during a project — that is governed by the contract we sign with you.
When you fill in the contact form. Your name, your email address, and anything you choose to tell us in the message — plus, if you fill them in, your organization name and the kind of work you are asking about. We use it for one purpose: to reply to you and to have the conversation you asked for.
When you email us or call us. Whatever the message contains, plus your address or number, so we can reply.
When you simply read the site. We use privacy-focused analytics that count visits and show which pages are read. It sets no cookies, does not follow you to other websites, and does not build a profile of you. We see totals, not people.
Our hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs — the kind every web server keeps, including IP addresses — to deliver pages and to block attacks. We do not use them to identify visitors.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not add you to a mailing list because you contacted us — if we ever start a newsletter, you will have to ask for it.
When you contact us, you are asking us to get in touch — we hold your information to do exactly that, and for no other purpose. We keep short technical logs and anonymous visit counts because we have a legitimate interest in the site working and being secure, and neither identifies you.
Only the services that make the site work, and only for that purpose:
Some of these companies are based outside Georgia, which means your information may be stored or processed abroad — including in the European Union and the United States. We use established providers that commit to appropriate safeguards for that transfer.
Enquiries that do not turn into work: two years, then deleted — long enough that we remember the conversation if you come back. Enquiries that become a project: kept as part of the client record, for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. Anonymous visit statistics: kept indefinitely, because they identify nobody.
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to misha (at) deeprock.io and we will answer within one month. There is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the supervisory authority for data protection in Georgia. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also complain to your own national data protection authority.
The site is served only over an encrypted connection. Enquiries go into a mailbox protected by two-factor authentication. Access is limited to the people who need it — currently a very short list.
No system is perfectly secure. If information is ever lost or exposed in a way that could cause you real harm, we will tell you and we will notify the supervisory authority, as the law requires.
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 16.
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date at the top. If a change materially affects people who have already contacted us, we will tell them directly.
This website sets no tracking cookies and shows no cookie banner. That is a deliberate choice, not an oversight.
Our analytics counts page visits without cookies and without following visitors between websites — so there is nothing to ask your consent for and nothing for you to switch off.
Our network provider may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and working — for example to tell a real visitor from an automated attack. These cannot be used to identify or track you, and the site cannot be delivered safely without them.
